Happy Friday! As I was deciding what to write about for today, I was looking around on my blogger account, and I thought to myself “how have I already written this many posts?” Sometimes it seems as if I just started blogging, and yet here I am, publishing my 300th post, and I can’t believe it! However, I’m so excited about how far this blog has come, and I can’t wait to see what the next 300 posts will bring!
With that being said, I have even more things coming soon,
so we’re already ushering in the new things I was just saying I’m excited to
see! I have been working on an idea for a little side business/blog adventure
type thing for a little while now, and I’m really excited to get some outside
feedback to see if it could really be a profitable idea. But when I say
profitable, I’m not really talking about money, I’m just wondering if it will
be a well-liked idea that will be worth my time.
Now, I’m planning on doing a full “unveiling” type post on
the 21st, so that I can have a little more time to get all of my
information together (I don’t even have a name yet), but I’m willing to give
out a few spoilers today. To start with, it will—clearly—have something to do
with books. So for all my book loving friends, you will definitely want to come
back for the announcement post. It’s been my dream or a long time to own a
bookstore of my own, and to help fellow readers find books that they will love,
so this idea was born out of that passion. While I can’t actually own a
bookstore at this point and time, I can help with book suggestions, because
I’ve read a lot of books in my relatively short lifetime.
Anyway, I don’t want to give too much away, but I will also
say that this idea should also be something all of my friends who love
subscription boxes would like, so they should keep their eyes open for my announcement
post as well. I’m also open to all kinds of advice on the subject, because I want
this idea to work well for all who are interested, and to really cater to them
and their desires, so when you read by announcement post, please come into it
with your eyes open and ready to give me all kinds of advice. This is my first
time attempting something like this, so I’ll need your help!

ReplyDeleteAnd yay. I am very much a book nerd, reading about 500 a year. Thats kind of a little on hold as I work the grad school, but I do still enjoy a book or two. Can't wait!!!
Thank you! Haha me too! I haven't been able to read nearly as much either since starting college, but I try to fit in as many as I can!
