Sequels I’m Anticipating

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is another topic I’m not all that fond of writing about. Therefore, I’ve picked my own topic this week, and decided to tell you all about the sequels I am absolutely dying to read. Because there are quite a few sequels I haven’t yet taken the time out to read, I’ve narrowed down the topic by only choosing ones that haven’t released. So, here goes!

A Flight of Arrows by Lori Benton

Releasing on April 19^th, this is the second book in Lori’s The Pathfinders series, coming after The Wood’s Edge.

Hearts Are Divided. Loyalties will be tested. The fates of two families hang in the balance.

Twilight at Blueberry Barrens by Colleen Coble

The third book in Colleen’s Sunset Cove series, coming after The Inn at Ocean’s Edge and Mermaid Moon, this book releases on September 20^th.

Kate Mason has always found solace in her family’s blueberry barrens. But are they giving her a false sense of security?

Kate has devoted herself to keeping her family’s blueberry barrens thriving. But when blossom blight devastates her blueberry fields, she’s forced to come up with alternative ways to replace that income. Fixing up the small cottage on her property as a rental seems an obvious choice, but it won’t be enough. When Drake Carver drives by with his two nieces in tow, looking not only for a place to rent for the summer but also for a nanny for the girls, it’s almost too good to be true.

Drake is a judge whose brother and sister-in-law died in an accident shortly after he received a threat that his family would suffer if he didn’t drop a high profile case. Is there a connection? This remote area of Maine seems like the perfect place for him to keep his nieces safe until he determines if they’re in danger.

Drake and Kate constantly lock horns; having never been a parent before, he gives his nieces free reign. Kate won’t stand for their disrespect and keeps challenging Drake to set a higher standard. Even though Kate has given up on having children because of the chemo she had to take, she finds herself oddly drawn to this improvised family. But Drake begins to fear that he’s putting Kate in danger as well.

Meanwhile, Kate learns that her uncle—in prison for murder—has escaped. Add to that a stalker whose sights are set on her, and Kate is looking over her shoulder at every turn.

With danger swirling from multiple directions, it may be a question of who gets to her first.

Just a Kiss by Denise Hunter

The third book in Denise’s Summer Harbor series—coming--after Falling Like Snowflakes and The Goodbye Bride—which releases on September 9^th.

Riley Callahan’s plans to reveal his secret feelings for his best friend are ruined when his life is drastically altered in Afghanistan.

Watching the love of his life falling for his brother was enough to send Riley straight to boot camp. But over a year later, he’s officially a marine, and Beau and Paige are no longer an item. As the weeks wear on with the two in such close proximity, Paige’s feelings for Riley begin to shift into unchartered territory why is she suddenly noticing his corded arm muscles and the way his lips curl at the corners? Will she be able to deny her feelings for another Callahan brother? And will Riley let his heart heal so he can let Paige in?

An Elegant Façade by Kristi Ann Hunter

This book releases on July 5^th, and is the second book in Kristi’s Hawthorne House series, coming after A Noble Masquerade.

Lady Georgina Hawthorne has worked tirelessly to seal her place as the Incomparable for her debut season. At her first London ball, she hopes to snag the attention of an earl.

With money and business connections, but without impeccable bloodlines, Colin McCrae is invited everywhere but accepted nowhere. When he first encounters the fashionable Lady Georgina, he’s irritated by his attraction to a woman who concerns herself only with status and appearance.

Dawn at Emberwilde by Sarah E. Ladd

Releasing on May 10^th, this is the second book in Sarah’s Treasures of Surrey series, coming after The Curiosity Keeper.

Annabelle is about to enter the world of le bon ton. But there is more to it than meets the eye. And not all of it is good.

Sarah’s Surrender by Vickie McDonough

This is the third book in Vickie’s Land Rush Dreams series, coming after Gabriel’s Atonement and Joline’s Redemption, and releases on July 1^st.

Almost Like Being in Love by Beth K. Vogt

The second book in Beth’s Destination Wedding series—coming after Crazy Little Thing Called Love—which releases on June 28^th.

This is the fourth book in Becky’s Porter Family series, coming after Undeniably Yours, Meant to Be Mine, and A Love Like Ours, and it releases on May 3^rd.

The Magnolia Duchess by Beth White

Releasing on April 19^th, this is the third book in Beth’s Gulf Coast Chronicles series, coming after The Pelican Bride and The Creole Princess.

This is the third book in Roseanna’s Ladies of the Manor series, coming after The Lost Heiressand The Reluctant Duchess (which released today!!!!), and it releases on September 13^th.

Lady Ella Myerston can always find a reason to smile—even if it’s just in hope that tomorrow will be better than today. All her life everyone has tried to protect her from the realities of the world, but Ella knows very well the danger that has haunted her brother and their friend, and she won’t wait for it to strike again. She intends to take action…and if that happens to involve an adventurous trip to the Cotswolds, then so much the better.

Lord Cayton has already broken two hearts, including that of his first wife, who dies before he could convince himself to love her. Now he’s determined to live a better life. But that proves complicated when old friends arrive on the scene and try to threaten him into a life of crime.
