It’s September!!! That means fall weather is right around
the corner, and I’m so excited! Now that football season has started I’m ready
for all the cool fall breezes and leaves and fall decorations and everything
that has to do with my favorite season of the year. Right now, it’s still
pretty hot here, but I’m hopeful it’ll cool down soon! Now let me get to what
I’m currently up to!
Reading: As I
write this post, I’m currently reading Whispers
of the Bayou by Mindy Starns Clark, but by the time I actually post this
post (in just a little over twelve hours) I might already be reading the next
book on my list, A Lady Unrivaled by
Roseanna M. White. I’ve been devouring Whispers
of the Bayou because it is such a fantastic story and I’m dying to uncover
all of the secrets of the bayou, and I know
I’ll devour A Lady Unrivaled, so no
matter which I’m reading I know they’re both good.
Trying: Writing
posts that aren’t about books. I
know, that sounds pretty silly, but even when I intend on writing posts about
completely different things, somehow I almost always manage to mention at least
one thing book-related. It’s a terrible habit, I know, but books are one of my
passions. Anyway, as I work on trying to grow the linkup my sister and I host,
I’m trying to branch out and write about some of my other interests. We’ll see
how that goes!
Hoping: That I’ll
get to go with my family on vacation later this month! I have to work out my
school and homework schedule to make it possible, but since they’re going to
James Island, I really want to go so
I’m trying super hard to make it work! I just love the beach, and vacations in
general, so I’m hoping that I will be able to go!
Decorating: I’m
not really decorating anything at the moment, although I am currently working
on a family tree for one of my classes! I’m not sure that counts as something
even close to decorating, but it’s fun for me so I’m counting it!
To-do Listing: Homework.
Always homework. It seems like it never ends, but I am thankful that some of my
assignments are actually fun! Oh, and I’m also at the place where I’m to-do
listing fun things such as hobbies and reading and blogging, so that goes on
this list too.

I am so excited for fall as well! It is still pretty warm where I live too, so fall seems like it's never going to get here!
ReplyDeleteA family tree project sounds really interesting! It's fascinating to find out about relatives and where they're from and everything.
Homework is never fun! My brother is in college and is always doing homework!
And I always add fun things to my to-do lists too!
