My Bookshelf: Finding Margo + A Linkup

Off the charts and on the run.
International pop star Margo Harman could use a night off. A grueling tour and overbearing entourage have sent her over the edge. It’s time for this diva to disappear. And who would think to look for the superstar in a small Dutch town in Ohio?
Sheriff’s deputy Brock Moore is undercover as well. He knows Margo isn’t who she appears to be, but her uncanny resemblance to a local Amish woman is raising all sorts of questions…the kind that make her a target for a killer.
Both are determined to find answers, but their mutual attraction stands in the way of either of them doing it alone.
Is finding Margo the solution to Brock’s problems or just the beginning…?

Finding Margo is the first book in Jen Turano’s Finding Home series, but definitely isn't the first book I've ever read by her. In fact, I've actually read--and loved--every single one of Jen's novels, so it was a no-brainer for me to preorder this story as soon as I found out about it. Jen is one of my favorite authors, and her historical novels are always fantastic, so I was super excited to find out she was diving into the realm of contemporary fiction. And I am so thrilled to say that I was not disappointed!
Margo Hartman is such an intriguing character, and I loved that while she was sweet and spunky like Jen's other characters, she was just different enough that it gave a new insight into Jen's talent.
I absolutely loved the mystery of this novel and the truth behind Margo’s story! I’m already dying to read the next book in the series because I want to know what happened to the other two children (you’ll figure out what I’m talking about if you read this one!). The mystery just took me in from page one, and I absolutely love all things Amish, so this novel was perfect for me!!! Therefore I couldn’t help giving it all five bookshelves, and a place on my all-time favorites list! Jen always writes novels that I always can’t help but love, so while I’m sad this is a shorter review than I normally write, I’m glad I got to read this book at all!
Happy reading!
