Top Ten Tuesday: Books by My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is actually an eye-opening topic for me, because we’re talking all about books we haven’t read, namely books by the authors that I absolutely love. When I really love an author, I typically read as many of their books as possible in a fairly short period of time, but sometimes I miss a few or get distracted by another new author, and then next thing you know I’ve completely forgotten about those books. So that’s where this list comes from today, all of these authors are ones that I completely love, and I’ve read the majority of their books, but for some reason I’ve missed these.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Fall 2018 TBR

Happy Tuesday! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday, and this week is one of my favorite topics. I absolutely love every time I get to talk about books on my TBR, so I was super excited when I found out this week’s post was all about books I want to read this fall. On the one hand, I know I’m probably not going to get around to reading all of these, but on the other hand, it just reminds me that I have so many great reads to look forward to!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant to Read Last Year But Didn’t Get To

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is actually all about hidden gems, or books that we feel didn’t get the attention/recognition they deserve, but I just don’t feel like this is a topic I have anything to add to. So, I decided to venture out again into the list of past Top Ten Tuesday topics that I didn’t get to share about, and today I came up with a topic about books I meant to read but haven’t gotten around to. These are all fantastic novels I was planning on reading last year—some of them I even ordered—but somehow I still haven’t read them.

Top Ten Tuesday: Binge-worthy TV Shows/Movies

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is for all of those days when we’ve just finished a book, and we have to find something to do until we can get our hands on another one. This list is all about TV shows and movies that you can binge all day long to get yourself out of that in-between books slump! These are some of my all-time favorite things to watch, some are new favorites and some are old friends, but all are movies that have sequels or TV shows with multiple seasons for your viewing pleasure. Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Read and Loved in School

Happy Tuesday! Since school has officially begun for most students, this week’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about back to school. It is a freebie, however, which means I get to post about anything I want—back to school related of course—so I decided I wanted to talk about some school books I have read. However, these aren’t just stuffy textbooks, but rather are some books I read back in middle and high school that I really loved. I still remember reading all of these, and I definitely remember really enjoying them. Honestly, I would still read them now, even though I don’t have to!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books to Pull You Out of a Reading Slump

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about books that are sure to pull you out of a reading slump. Since I think the perfect books to pull anyone out of a slump are the best, most captivating, intriguing, and memorable stories, I pulled these ten books straight from my all-time favorites list. All of these are novels that fit at least one of those descriptions above (i.e. they’re either memorable or intriguing or captivating), and are novels that I highly recommend, whether you’re in a reading slump or not!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books Set in a Different Country

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is fairly similar to last weeks, for me anyway. What I mean by that is, just like last week, the chosen topic isn’t one that I really feel like I can talk about. The actual topic for today is all about our favorite book blogs and websites, but I don’t really spend as much time on blogs and such as I would like, so I don’t have a list of ten, or even six honestly. Because of that, I decided that once again I will do a throwback post, since I missed so many earlier in the year. So today I’m talking all about books that I’ve read that are set in a different country!

Happy Tuesday! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is actually all about books that I would mash together, but I just don’t really think about books that way. Although that is a very interesting topic and I wish I had something more along those lines, I just can’t think of any books I would mash with another. So, even though this technically isn’t in the rules, I’m doing a throwback post instead. Since I took a break from my blog and Top Ten Tuesday awhile back, I missed some really interesting topics. I’m sharing one of those today instead, because I really wanted to be a part of it, though I am quite a few weeks behind. So, today I’m actually talking about some books that have been on my TBR list for a really long time, but I somehow still haven’t read them!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Was Really Excited for That Didn’t Disappoint

Happy Tuesday! This week, Top Ten Tuesday is all about popular books that have lived up to the hype, but that topic didn’t really resonate with me all that much. Since I mostly just read Christian fiction, I knew I didn’t have anything to add to the list that would be considered “popular” in the way this topic is suggesting, and while there are definitely books that are popular in the Christian fiction scene, I don’t typically read books because they are popular. So instead, I decided to give this topic a little bit of a twist, and feature ten books that I was super excited for that didn’t disappoint, but rather lived up to my expectations and more. Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Distinctly Remember Reading

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is actually all about my top ten books with sensory reading memories. However, when I’m reading, I’m not really paying much attention to anything going on around me. Even if I’m eating as I read. I just dive straight into the story, and I don’t really notice, much less remember, anything else but that novel. So, I’m giving this topic a little bit of a twist, and talking about novels that I distinctly remember reading. In other words, I can actually remember where I was or what was going on when I read these novels. Which is a pretty big accomplishment for me. Let’s get to these books!

Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Novellas

Happy Tuesday! This Top Ten Tuesday is about favorite books again—which if you know me you love talking about my favorite books—but with a little bit of a different twist. Today we’re talking about our favorite novellas which is something I haven’t really written much about on the blog before. However, I have read quite a few novellas in the past, many of which were part of some of my favorite series, so I’m so glad I have the chance to share them with you today!

Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books I’ve Read in 2018

Happy Tuesday! First, before I get to this week’s Top Ten Tuesday, let me say that if it seems like I have been somewhat absent on my blog for the past few days, that’s because I have been, though not by choice. My laptop apparently decided it was time to stop being the trusty little laptop it usually is, and completely stopped charging, no matter what I did to it. Fortunately, my dad knows everything about computers and was able to identify quickly what the problem was, but we had to order the new part it needed which meant I was without a computer for most of the week. But now my laptop is charging beautifully again, and I’m back just in time for one of my favorite Top Ten Tuesday posts. Today we’re talking all about some of the best books we have read so far this year, and since I have read quite a few phenomenal ones, the only hard part about this list was figuring out how to keep it to only ten! Top Ten Tuesday: Books with Red, White, and Blue Covers

It’s Tuesday again! And, since it is the day before our nations Independence Day, today’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a special one to honor the holiday. Although I haven’t participated in many Top Ten Tuesday topics that have focused on covers in the past, I do love a good cover, and that has been what has helped me to pick out some books that I might not have read otherwise. Besides that, this is such a fun way to begin the celebration a day early, so I am excited to be a part of this post all about red, white, and/or blue book covers! Top Ten Tuesday: Series I’ve Given Up On

 

It’s Tuesday again! And I must say, I am really glad to be back to writing Top Ten Tuesday posts once more. Plus, this is a really good Tuesday for me, since I am currently laid back with my feet up enjoying a week by the lake. There is no better way to spend the summer, except by the beach. Especially since I brought enough books that I could almost read a book a day if I wanted to, and that makes for the perfect vacation. This week for Top Ten Tuesday, however, we are talking about books—or rather series—that we are actually not planning on reading. So, here are some series I have decided I just can’t finish.

Top Ten Tuesday: My Summer TBR

I’m finally back! I cannot tell you how much I have missed participating in Top Ten Tuesday, but now I’m finally back to posting about it again, and I’m so glad. I am really into lists for some reason—it’s my personality I guess—so I think that is why these posts are so enjoyable for me to write. Now that I have decided to put more time back into my blog again, I have easily made the decision to get back to participating in Top Ten Tuesday again as well. And my first post back just so happens to be a really great one: books to read on the beach/by the pool, or in other words, books on my summer TBR list! Since my TBR list is always SUPER long, these kinds of posts are really easy for me. So, for the first four books on this list, I chose books that are currently on my bookshelf that I am really looking forward to finally getting around to reading, and am planning on reading in the next couple of months. Then, for the last six books on this list, I chose some new releases that are coming out this summer that I’ve been dying to read ever since I learned about their impending release. So, let’s get down to this list!

Top Ten Tuesday: Pretty Covers!!!

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about the visuals, so I’m filling my post with some of my favorite new covers of ten books that release this year! I feel like covers are just getting better and better as the years go on, and this year is one of the best yet! There are so many gorgeous covers out there so this was hard to slim down, but I think I’ve managed to get the best ones. So far. I’m sure as soon as I turn around I’ll find another new one I like better. But for now, here are these fantastic ones!

Top Ten Tuesday: Oh How I’ve Missed These Books!

It’s Tuesday again! This is one of my favorite days, partly because Top Ten Tuesday posts are some of my favorite ones to write! And today is a special Tuesday because it’s a FREEBIE!!! Sometimes it takes me a while to come up with a topic, because I’ve already done many of the ones you would most often think of, and I like to come up with a topic that is more out of the box. This week, I think I’ve nailed it! My top ten list today consists of ten books I first read before I even started blogging, but would love to read again because I absolutely loved them! Hopefully, this list will inspire me to do some re-reading, and if I do, I’ll definitely review these gems!

Top Ten Tuesday: Sadly Underrated

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about the books that I have read in the past year that are totally underrated on Goodreads. This was one of my favorite topics from last year, but unfortunately this year it was really hard to pick just ten books for this list, and for a very sad reason. Almost all of the books I’ve read fall into the “underrated” category! Isn’t that terrible?! However, I can promise that, despite their lack of reviews, these are ten fantastic novels, and you can bet my reviews of them are on Goodreads!

Top Ten Tuesday: 2017 Debuts I’m Excited For

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about the debut novels releasing this year that we are excited for, and shockingly enough, this was a very difficult topic for me. I couldn’t find a single debut novel I’m super excited for, so I looked for new series instead, and I still struggled to find ten I’m really anticipating. So, while this is actually a fairly sad length, I am SUPER excited for the eight new series I do have listed here, and I can almost promise they will be really enjoyable!
